Amy is a Licensed Occupational Therapist and is the Occupational Therapy Supervisor. She has been working at IVCH since August, 1994. Amy received her Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy from St. Ambrose University with a minor in Psychology.
The majority of Amy’s continuing education has been in hand therapy and splinting, as well as neurological injuries. She is certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations and Job Function testing for the work conditioning program. Amy is also a certified Kinesiotape® Practitioner. Her area of specialty is rehabilitation of the wrist, hand, and finger after injuries or surgeries.
Amy was born and raised in Peru and lives there with her husband and daughter. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors. Her favorite thing is to spend time with family and friends.
