Kelly is the Director of Outpatient Rehabilitative Services and a Licensed Physical Therapist. She has worked for IVCH since 2005. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine and a Master Degree in Physical Therapy from Marquette University. She did her undergraduate work in psychology. Kelly holds Certification as a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy through the ABPTS (American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties) certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the NSCA, is a certified Kinesiotape® Practitioner, and certified ASTYM provider. She is a clinical instructor for Physical Therapy doctoral students from universities in Illinois and Iowa completing their final internships.
Kelly’s expertise is in sports medicine. She is an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties sports medicine certified specialist.
She utilizes functional exercises, active tissue release, and manual therapy techniques for joint mobility, corrective exercises, functional movement screens, and motion analysis for the athletic population.
Growing up in LaSalle, Kelly is a native of the Illinois Valley and attended L-P high School. She is a long time runner, triathlete, obstacle course racer, and crossfit athlete. She also has a background in dance and cheerleading, and is a youth track coach.
